The support track for the MagnaTrack system is made from hardened aluminum. The track supports the trolley and the nylon hose suspensions which slide easily along the smooth interior surface. Each track section is 4 feet long and standard lengths are available from 20 to 90 feet. The track hangs from the supporting structure by short chains. These chains, when combined with the hydraulic shock absorber, greatly reduce stress in the system during high-speed exits and allow for a margin of error when parking the vehicle.
