The balancer used for the MagnaTrack system employs an advanced cone-shaped cord reel. The benefit to the user is lowered resistance that does not increase even when the 27 foot cord is fully extended. This combination of long length and low force allows the system to be attached to apparatus outside the door threshold. Another benefit of the design is to reduce the whiplash of the hose when the system disconnects. This reduces strain on the system for prolonged life.
